About Weekend Walks
Join the New York City Department of Transportation this summer as it partners with BIDS and local community groups in all five boroughs to pedestrianize short stretches of commercial roads as part of the Weekend Walks program. Streets will be closed to cars to create a pedestrian plaza where you can meet your neighbors, listen to music, participate in activities, or just sit and enjoy the weather!
