We hold a free chair yoga class in our food pantry waiting area Mon, Wed, Thurs and Fri 9-10am. It is open to all and is bilingual, English/Spanish. This is a low impact yoga class. No registration necessary. Mats are available for those who wish to use them. Wear comfortable clothing. Offered year-round.

This 75 or 90 minute class is donation only. Students pay what they want, for a community based, open level yoga class. Classes include sun salutations with variations based on student level, a variety of strengthening and balancing poses, back-bends, forward bends, and inversions, and introduction to binding and partner poses. Basic techniques in pranayama (breathing practices) and meditation and included in each class. Focus is on proper alignment , and using breath to find a balance between effort and ease in each posture. Beginners as well as advanced practitioners are welcome.
