Learn how to swim with our professionally trained staff!  We teach all age groups and abilities. Lessons are small, with a student-teacher ratio of 8:1, and can be taken progressively, from beginner to experienced.

Each series of lessons is composed of ten classes, of 45 minutes each.  Placement in the classes is determined by availability, and by the swimmer's skill level, which is judged by the swimmer's participation in a mandatory water test.

Fee: $100 for ten lessons.  This class is for children ages 6 months to 5 years, and requires the active involvement of their parents, who must be in the water with them.  Parents must become Recreation Center members.

Registration is required.   To register, please call FMCP at (718) 271-7572.
