Participants must be comfortable in deep water and able to swim basic freestyle with a breathing pattern. The basics of the four competitive strokes: Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly, will be introduced as well as starts, turns and interval training. Approximately two weeks will be spent on each stroke, and two weeks on turns and starts.

Swimming/Aquatics

You may use any of Parks' recreational spaces, except tennis courts, without a permit. However, if a permit holder arrives with a valid permit in hand, you must vacate the field or court. An individual must have a season permit or single-play ticket to use Parks' tennis courts.
