Looking to transform your stomach into a 6 pack?  Do you feel like you are losing the battle of the bulge?  Let us help you firm those abdominal muscles!  ABDOMINATOR offers an intense 30-minute workout designed to attack the abdominal area from all different angles by incorporating core strengthening exercises to build a stronger mid-section.  This class is followed by Jump Start the most intense jump class you will ever find. This class will have multiple variations of jumping which will elevate your heart rate while improving overall fitness. You will improve your coordination and balance while strengthening your entire body as you jump rope through challenging, timed intervals.

All Terrain Training is a program designed to teach participants how to train for, complete, and safely maneuver through challenges that they may encounter during an obstacle course race.  All Terrain Training believe that group training helps people stay committed, accountable, and on track with their health and wellness goals.  All Terrain Training will include cardiovascular and strengthen training as well as technical workshops so that participants can practice various obstacles in this 60 minute intense circuit style workout.

Train like a beast!  The majority of this hour will be devoted to rugged and raw workouts such as monkey and bear crawls, back stretching like a cobra, mountain climbers, crab walking, and much more.  We will utilize body weight exercises to strengthen participants' total body and to help all participants tap into their wild side.  Participants will build lean muscle, and burn fat.  Be prepared to work a sweat on all fours and train like an animal!

Work on increasing your cardiovascular endurance through circuit training as we superset different exercises with low rest periods.

Maximize your glutes! Many people, even athletes, have weak glutes. Part of the issue is the amount of time many of us spend sitting (driving, stationary at work, etc). Sitting for extended periods of time can result in tight, shortened hip flexors and hamstrings, and weak glutes that fail to fire properly.  This class will use a variety of exercises that help firm and tone the specific muscles of the Gluteus Maximus and Gluteus Medius.  Exercise examples include one-leg squat, one-leg deadlift, sideways, front, and transverse lunges, side-lying hip abduction, and lateral band walks.

Bounce Back is an ideal program for members who are looking to strength train in a different manner than in a traditional weight room.  All circuits are completed on stability balls and will incorporate body weight, dumbbells, and kettlebell exercises.  Designed to increase flexibility, improve range of motion, and increase overall muscle strength, Bounce Back will get you confident with your body again!

Strength Training/Weightlifting

You may use any of Parks' recreational spaces, except tennis courts, without a permit. However, if a permit holder arrives with a valid permit in hand, you must vacate the field or court. An individual must have a season permit or single-play ticket to use Parks' tennis courts.
