The Learn to Swim program offers free swim lessons for toddlers (1½-5), children (6-17), and adults (18+) of all ages at our indoor pools.

Children ages 6 to 17 will learn beginner level skills such as how to safely get into and leave the water, how to control their breath by blowing bubbles, how to float and kick on front and back and move through the water. They will also learn how to stay safe around the water and what to do in case of an emergency. Children who already know these skills will learn to move their arms and legs together in a swimming motion. Instructors will work on teaching children to swim without assistance, and improve on skills of the beginner level.
