This instructor is part of the NYC Parks Fitness Instructor Training Program.

Hot Hula Fitness provides a total body workout in 60 minutes as it isolates larger muscle groups, increasing strength and definition to your core with specific emphasis on the abs, glutes, quads and arms.  Inspired by the dances of the Pacific Islands, Hot Hula fitness incorporates easy to perform dance movements set to the sounds of traditional Polynesian drum beats fused with funky Reggae music, resulting in a modern, hip fitness workout.

Shape Up NYC classes are FREE and available to those who are not Recreation Center members. Please bring a key lock to secure your belongings.

Effective, Tuesday, June 10, 2014, Latin Aerobics Class has been relocated to the T-Building (Corner of Clarkson Avenue and New York Avenue), 2nd Floor, Auditorium. Latin Aerobics is a fusion of Latin music and dance themes like Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Reagaton, and Samba! The routines feature aerobic, fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body with easy to follow dance steps.
