4th Annual Bronx Winterfest

Saturday: 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

Williamsbridge Oval Recreation Center, 3225 Reservoir Oval East, Bronx

Get out in the cold and join us for sports including football and hockey.  We will have special winter games including challenges and obstacle courses.  Families can create art and crafts.   There will be entertainment and free hot coco. 


Individuals and groups can also create a recycled snowman.  Using recyclable materials put together your own snowman.  Entries can be dropped off at Williamsbridge Oval Recreation Center between Wednesday January 28 and Friday January 30 by 8p.m.  Prizes will be awarded!

Adventure Courses/Rock Climbing

You may use any of Parks' recreational spaces, except tennis courts, without a permit. However, if a permit holder arrives with a valid permit in hand, you must vacate the field or court. An individual must have a season permit or single-play ticket to use Parks' tennis courts.

Organized play (leagues) requires a permit. Click here for an application and more information about permits.

Alley Pond Park Adventure Course

Also called a ropes or challenge course, the Alley Pond Park Adventure Course is an outdoor team-building and group development activity course consisting of high and low ropes elements.
