Compete in wheelchair basketball at McCarren, whether you're experienced or new at the sport.  It's challenging, fast-paced and exciting.  The first two weeks of the program, Thursday, October 2 and Thursday, October 9, are free.  After that, membership is required.

Both disabled and able-bodied athletes are welcome.  The program is for adults 18 and up.

This interactive clinic enables young people to become better basketball players through drills and competitive games that focus on skill development, sportsmanship, teamwork as well as stewardship of Central Park. Participants that excel in the clinic will have the opportunity to play in Central Park’s seasonal basketball tournament.  No prior basketball experience is required.

Basketball/Netball

You may use any of Parks' recreational spaces, except tennis courts, without a permit. However, if a permit holder arrives with a valid permit in hand, you must vacate the field or court. An individual must have a season permit or single-play ticket to use Parks' tennis courts.
